56 — Wealth (Estate & Assets)

Wealth is only generational if it’s documented.

What Lives Here

The family’s collective asset picture — what you own, what it’s worth, how it’s structured, and how it transfers. This is distinct from your personal finance (domain 30) — this is the family-level view.

  • Asset register — complete list of what the family owns (property, vehicles, accounts, IP)
  • Estate plan — wills, trusts, beneficiaries, directives
  • Property — real estate owned, mortgages, insurance
  • Business interests — ownership stakes, equity, LLCs the family holds
  • Generational wealth strategy — how you’re building wealth that survives you
  • Net worth (family) — total picture updated quarterly

Zeus’s Note

Domain 30 is for personal finance — your individual income and spending. Domain 56 is zoomed out to the family level — what does the household own, what’s the estate plan, how does wealth pass to the next generation?

The hardest part was the estate plan. Most people avoid it because it forces you to think about death. But writing a will with clear beneficiaries is an act of love. It protects your family from the nightmare of probate court.

I use the asset register as a master index. Every time we add a significant asset — car, property, investment account — it goes in the register first. The detail files come later. The register alone is enough for a lawyer or family member to start from.
